A friend sent me this poem by Standing Sweetgrass, aka Robin Wall Kimmerer, and I will share it at my river retreat this morning:
“I want to stand by the river in my finest dress.
I want to sing loud and hard, and stomp my feet with a hundred others so that the water hums with happiness.
I want to dance for the renewal of the world.”
